Instruction/Classroom Management

Rationale:   My STEP project showcases my ability to plan, exceute, and reflect on an instructional unit.  Part 1 highlights how I gathered background information about the school, community and classroom I teach in.  This information was used to tailor instruction during the unit.  In STEPS 2-4, I demonstrate my ability to backwards design instruction based on state standards and utilize a preassessment to tailor instruction to the specific needs of my classroom.  In STEP 5 & 6, I reflect on the effectiveness of my teaching using evidence from my student work. ........
