I am a master student at the Department of Economics, National Taiwan University. My research interest concerns applied microeconomics, with a focus being placed on economics of education using administrative data. I am also the program manager of the Applied Economics Workshop (AEW), a monthly applied economics workshop jointly hosted by 7 top economics institutions in Asia. AEW invites top-notched economists as our keynote speakers, including Sandra Black, Nathan Nunn, Melissa Dell, Edward Miguel, David Autor, etc. You are welcome to contact me: r10323068@ntu.edu.tw.

I am an economics graduate student with main research interests in economics of law, gender, and economic history. I am interested in applying big data techniques, such as machine learning, to develop my research. Currently, I am working on a paper analyzing the responses of judges to the introduction of Taiwan’s Commutation Act in 2007, using data from court verdicts through text mining. In addition, I have been working as a data analyst intern at PChome eBay Co., Ltd., a flagship e-commerce company in Taiwan.
