Yu-Hsin Ho is a Master’s student of Economics at National Taiwan University. He is currently a visiting student at the University of California, Berkeley. He is interested in the Economics of Gender, Political Economy, and Spatial Economics. He is currently the program manager of the Applied Economics Workshop (AEW), a monthly applied economics workshop jointly hosted by 9 top economics institutions in Asia.
Matthew Yi-Hsiu Lee is now a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at National Taiwan University. His research focuses on comparative politics, particularly on local elections and gender issues across East Asia. His work has been recognized with awards such as the Best Paper in Political Methodology from the Taiwanese Political Science Association and the Excellence Thesis Award from the Taipei Civil Education Foundation. He was also recently awarded Academia Sinica's Fellowship for Doctoral Students in Humanities and Social Sciences. His current research examines the origins of gender quotas and their impact on voter attitudes.
Nora is currently a 4th-year student in Economics at National Taiwan University. Working together with Tsong-min Wu and Elliott Fan, she has been working on a variety of gender issues, using historical data from Taiwan's colonial period.
Yiting's research interests in economics of law, gender, and economic history. I am interested in applying big data techniques, such as machine learning, to develop my research. She is now pursuing PhD in economics at Purdue University.
Eva is now pursuing PhD in economics at Washington University in St. Louis. Her research interest concerns applied microeconomics, with a focus being placed on economics of education using administrative data.
