ELLEN GEE Franchise Terms
The ELLEN GEE Affiliate System uses Caspervend with servers on multiple sims.
Be aware that buying ELLEN GEE Affiliate Vendors doesn’t guarantee you any success. You have to carefully select shop locations and advertise them, take care of their appearance, and generate customer retention. If your intention is to make easy money without work, I recommend not to buy ELLEN GEE Affiliate Vendors, because they're too expensive for that kind of business attitude – you’d likely become disappointed. Your shops live and die with your passion.
To start, you have to buy the franchise kit, and will receive any updates via Caspervend without additional payments ever.
Delivery Issues
If you didn’t receive a vendor, just visit my in-world store and use the redelivery terminal.
If one of your customers has delivery issues with my servers, please send me a message with all necessary information so I can take care of it.
I will not redeliver if I can't find the transaction in my logs.
How does it work? How much can I earn?
Regular ELLEN GEE Affiliate Vendors give you 50% commission. The split takes place immediately after purchase: The vendor object accepts a payment on your behalf, pays a small fee to the franchise system provider (currently 2%) and then pays 50% of the net amount to Lava Babii.
Operation Rules
Keeping the aspect ratio
Since 1.9 the vendors have modify permission to allow you to adapt them better into your shop. However, you MUST maintain the aspect ratio of the images of 4:3, which is best achieved by a vendor aspect ration of 5:4 (e.g. 2 x 1.6 meters, 3 x 2.4 etc.) I'm claiming the right to deactivate any vendor that distorts the carefully and costly prepared vendor images.
Authorization Sign
It's is strongly recommended to show the “ELLEN GEE Authorized Reseller” sign in all your shops in which you sell ELLEN GEE apparel. You’ll find a copy/no-trans texture for the sign in the ELLEN GEE Franchise Kit.
You must stay in the ELLEN GEE Partner group. Please read the group notices to stay informed about changes (new products, old products being dropped and so on).
Competition Protection Policy
Avoid direct competition with another ELLEN GEE reseller (same mall etc.).Note that you only gain competition protection by ELLEN GEE if you show the “Authorised Reseller” sign, are in the Partner group and have given a landmark of the shop to Lava Babii. Please make sure the landmarks contain the name of your avatar.
Activity
If your avatar hasn’t been online for 6+ months, I claim the right to eject it from the group, and to deacitivate your vendors. If you later on return to Second Life, you may contact me and I will reactivate your vendor status.
Respect the sim rating
You (and only you) are responsible to respect the sim rating when placing ELLEN GEE vendors. It’s in your resposibility to cover mature parts as needed with prims at non-adult sims.
I recommend to use ELLEN GEE vendors only on mature or adult sims.
Integrity of ELLEN GEE Franchising
We will never actively approach franchisee’s customers to lead them to our shop. I do only operate a flagship store on my land, and will not rent other stores anywhere on the grid, hence will not directly compete with our franchisees.

You start ELLEN GEE Franchise business by buying the most current Franchise Kit. Any further updates are free of charge.
So, now for the nasty part: Any violation of the terms above may result in
disabling your vendors without any refund,
an exclusion from the group.
And after all: It’s only Second Life. Rules enforcement in SL has its limits, and most of us are only here to have a good time, including me, so don’t give me a hard time please.
