I announced my new clinical "home" on my social media accounts, but if you haven't seen my posts, this is for you! I will be located at Clear Skies Therapy Center starting January 6th. I have a few school-based placements but will also be available in our Boise office once a week. I am so excited to be part of this group practic and all that it will hold for me.

In the meantime, I have been working PRN (as needed) at the different Clarvida crisis centers located in the Treasure Valley. I will continue to pick up shifts when I am able to. It has been such an incredible experience being able to be in a new setting outside of Child-Centered Play Therapy. I am such a strong believer of continuing to be a learner and this is one way I am able to accomplish that. Not only am I learning and getting used to a new EHR/EMR (if you know, you know), I feel like my clinical crisis skills are enhancing. The beauty of this position is that I am able to pick up shifts if they work for my schedule. It has allowed for some beautiful family time and work-life balance while I wait for my full-time position to begin. I am so grateful for the opportunity to experience social work in many different facets especially this early on in my career.

I am so excited to share my latest update! I have found a NEW clinical "home". I recently accepted a position at a group practice, and I am incredibly excited for this opportunity. Parts of me feel like this was rushed, and other parts of me feel like this is exactly where I'm meant to be. There is so much nervousness and anticipation that comes from making big life changes, but I'm allowing myself to control what I can control and let go of everything else.

I want to announce this new move in a very special way, but I have yet to figure out what that might look like! Either way, I cannot wait to share this amazing announcement with all of you.

Thank you so much for landing here! I'm in a season of transition but I wanted to provide a place where I could write about all the different changes that are happening. My last day at Molly and Me Counseling is December 11th. I'm incredibly sad to be leaving all of my clients and I'm grateful for all the growth I have made as a therapist during my time there.

As of right now, I'm not scheduled to start at a new clinic. Instead, I'm using this time to find something (somewhere?) that will be the right fit for my long term career goals and what my family needs. I have accepted a PRN position with Clarvida working at the different crisis centers. I'm still in the training process for that but I'm excited for the flexibility this position will provide me and the growth I will make being in a crisis setting! I'm grateful to have the opportunity to grow in the way that fits me best and I can't wait to see what the future brings me.
