Hi there,
If you’re exploring therapy for your child, I want you to know this: you’re not alone, and you’re already doing something brave and beautiful for your child.
I became a play therapist because I truly believe that when we support children early — when we nurture their emotional regulation, self-esteem, empathy, and emotional vocabulary — we’re not just helping them get through today. We’re giving them tools that last a lifetime. Children are our future, and getting the honor of helping them grow into confident, compassionate humans is a privilege I treasure deeply.
I’m grounded in the belief that children deserve respect. That’s one of the many reasons I use Child-Centered Play Therapy — it’s gentle, developmentally appropriate, and honors the way children naturally communicate: through play. I’ve witnessed withdrawn children rediscover their spark, anxious children find courage, and overwhelmed children begin to trust their own inner strength.
My style as a therapist is gentle, encouraging, and playful. I want your child to feel safe being fully themselves. And I want you to feel seen, understood, and supported. Caregiver support is a huge part of the journey — truly, we become a team. No judgment, no pressure… just real humans working together to help your little one thrive. We’re all doing our best, and you deserve a space where that is recognized.
On a more personal note — I’m a lover of all things pink and whimsical. I’m a mom of three, a dog owner, and a wife, and spending time with my family is my absolute favorite thing in the world. I love riding my bike, being outside, and soaking in the small, joyful moments of life. Being a mom has shaped my heart and strengthened my passion for supporting other families.
I would be honored to walk alongside your family with compassion, playfulness, and steady support.
Warmly,
Ellee
