This was my first time experimenting with fur in Houdini. I was provided the model and told to make it look like any other creature, and I chose a ringed seal.

Everything here is mine, from the original concept art to every last asset and texture. My biggest challenge was staying on schedule and not letting render problems get to me. The whale skeleton, which I fully box modeled, was also not a cakewalk... I still see it in my sleep sometimes...
