Hiya, I'm Ella...
I specialise within the music management sector, with experience in events, artist management, A&R, and Social Media Management. Utilising my love for music in the business industry, I have always been a pioneer for creative expression.
Creating my own professional persona, I take inspiration from some powerful women in the industry, looking into the positives of everyone's career and using those attitudes in my aspiring profession. As a former music performance student, I have been highly influenced by music from a young age in multiple ways. Gaining experience in bands and performances as a guitarist, I have a perfect understanding of artists and can cater to them in the most devoted and relatable way.
I am highly passionate about the music industry, and my academic and practical journey at LIPA has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the various facets of the music business. With a focus on artist development, market analysis, scouting, and entertainment law, I am eager to contribute my knowledge and enthusiasm to the industry.
Starting in September 2024, I am currently on a placement at Sentric Music, pursuing my passion for music publishing by joining their Song Onboarding and Processing team. This role serves as a great introduction to the world of music publishing. Working with this team, I am gaining a solid understanding of the various data points crucial for accurately registering our writers' songs at collection societies worldwide and how these data points connect to royalty collection.
In unison with this, I am continuing my study in a BA Hons degree in 'Management of Music, Entertainment, Theatre and Events' at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. This has already opened me to multiple networks and experiences, including direct connections with BBC Introducing Merseyside, The Cavern Club Liverpool, LIMF Academy, Local & Live Podcast, Arts Bar Liverpool, and other industry professionals.
I aspire to work with musicians to brand and help their creative visions come to life through communication, collaborations, and performance. Having already worked with a variety of musicians, including soloists, producers, and ensembles, I have created a wide and deep plethora of work, allowing flexibility and a craving for more!
