YAV is the Young Adult Volunteering program throguh PCUSA. PCUSA has multiple YAV sites nationwide, and even a few international sites! YAVs are paired with community partners and engage in local non-profit work. I am placed in New Orleans, Louisiana with 5 other YAVs. I have just graduated from Tulane with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, double minors in Public Health and Gender Studies. Through my year in service, I am excited to get to know New Orleans through a non-student lens and to expand my wonderful community here.
