Keith W. Fengler Scholarship

The charitable organization that I've worked with that has made a lasting impact on me is Make-A-Wish. Their mission statement is "together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses." Ravenwood partners with Make-A-Wish every year to send a wish child to DisneyWorld and I am so grateful to be a part of this process. This year we are granting a wish for a 3 year old girl with epilepsy that wanted to go to Disney and meet the princesses. I chose to illustrate this by showing me and her dressed up as one of her favorite characters, Boo from the Disney movie Monsters Inc. Together, we are walking together to Disney transcending the mission statement and going to the castle where all the princesses would be waiting to greet her.
