Communication and Collaboration
For this project, the ELL team met weekly, and sometimes 2 times a week, via Zoom to collaborate on milestones, brainstorm ideas, strategize next steps, and distribute roles.
Based on our individual strengths in design, research, writing, and curriculum planning, we divided and conquered for each stage of the instructional design process.Â
Our team used Slack for asynchronous communication. This tool was beneficial in efficiently gathering information from teammates and solving any questions or problems in a prompt manner.
Our shared Google Drive for our project allowed us to share and collaborate on important documents for this project. This also provided an organized repository where we could easily find all of our work.
We used FigJam as a way to collaboratively plan the design's lesson flows and logic model. This tool offered us a more creative opportunity to brainstorm and visually make connections between our ideas for the lesson design.
Task Organization
To visualize our project milestone timeline, prioritize and distribute tasks, and efficiently share where each member is in terms of task completion, we used the Asana Kanban board.
