Assignment 1

Description: In this paper, you will describe your plans for designing a learning experience at a higher technology integration level than you currently do. You will use the Technology Integration Matrix (TIM), SAMR, and TPACK to evaluate current technology integration in your current learning setting. Depending on your work setting, the characteristics of the learning environment, and your interests, you will review examples of technology integration at different levels to determine which criteria in the matrix are similar to the highest typical use that you make of technology for learning. You will determine where and how you would have the opportunity to increase the level of integration. 

Assignment 2

Description: Part 1: Select one digital formative assessment tool to evaluate (including a screencast of the assessment tool selected in your appendices). You have options to choose from; check with the course syllabus for more detail or with your instructor.

Part 2: Using the ASSURE model, you will develop a lesson plan that effectively integrates technology and media.You will use the findings from assignment 1 and focus on the characteristics of meaningful learning environments (i.e., active, collaborative, constructive, authentic, and goal-directed) of the Technology Integration Matrix (TIM) where you would like to increase the level of integration.

Part 3: You and at least one peer will assess your lesson plan using selected rubrics (Required to submit a completed Peer Review Form and post in your appendices).

Assignment 3

Description: You will create, record, and publish a five-minute presentation related to trends, challenges, or educational technological developments on your website portfolio. You can use one or several available tools to create and publish your presentation
