Francois DuBois's primary costume in & Juliet (original costume design by Paloma Young)
Vest was originally a Hanes long-sleeve crewneck. Embellishments are iron-on decals, metal studs of varying sizes, and black ribbon.
Pants are Hanes sweatpants. The three colors of trim were sewn on by hand.

& Juliet text fragment paper flowers
I started making these flowers in December 2023 as goodbye gifts when cast members of & Juliet left the show. Since the musical itself is so intertextual, I was inspired to create flowers with petals cut from passages relevant to each character/actor.
To make each flower, first I compile (and format) lyrics and passages from the show into a document and print out all the pages. I like to make sure specific relevant words and phrases are included when I cut out the petals. Colors of the petals, stem, center bead, and tissue paper are also specifically chosen to match the colors of each person's costume.

Plain denim vest was thrifted and hand-painted. Embellishments were cut and hand-painted before being glued on. Belts and shorts were bought online. Skirt is two modified shirts, one of which was also painted.
