Elite Appalachian Development was born in the Spring of 2020. After moving home to Garrett County after coaching at Coastal Carolina University, Owner, Coach Logan Stewart was inspired to change the way youth sports and youth athletes prepared for their upcoming seasons. Early age specialization was on the rise, so instead of focusing on one sport to train clients, Coach Stew decided to develop the overall athleticism of youth so they can enjoy multiple sports year around. Developing athletes is not something new to Coach Stew. While playing football for four years at Frostburg State University, he volunteered to train other athletes at FSU. This led to an intern position at the University of South Carolina. After being with the Gamecocks for a summer, Coach Stew returned to Frostburg to finish his football career and intern with Women's Soccer, Football, Lacrosse, Softball, and Volleyball. After working at the college level for a few years and being exposed to various types of training, it was evident to bring the knowledge gained from past mentors together and use this experience to grow Garrett County athletics.
