My approach to therapy is integrative and client-centred, always guided by compassion. I draw from a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Strength-Based, Solution-Focused and Psychodynamic therapy, to meet you where you are and support your unique needs.
Life can feel complicated at times. Anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges can weigh heavily on us, leaving us overwhelmed or unsure of the next step. Therapy is a space where you don’t have to hold it all alone; we can talk it through, untangle the layers, and find clarity together.
Unexpected challenges, like being involved in a motor vehicle accident or experiencing a dog bite, can also have lasting emotional effects. Beyond the physical impact, these experiences can leave you feeling shaken, fearful, or unsettled. Therapy can help you process these events, rebuild a sense of safety, and move toward healing with greater confidence.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing begins when you feel heard, supported, and understood. Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to carry it alone. Therapy can be the space where you discover new tools, new perspectives, and new ways of moving forward with resilience and self-compassion.
