Elisa Palagi Assistant Professor (RTT) Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Pisa (Italy)
I am an Assistant Professor (RTT) at the Institute of Economics at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Pisa (Italy). I am also a fellow at the World Inequality Lab (WIL, PSE). I am Principal Investigator of SCI-PET ("Socioeconomic and Climate Inequality: understanding disparities in emissions, climate impacts and perceptions to design Policy for an Equitable Transition"), a FIS3 ("Italian ERC") project financed by the Italian Ministry of University and Research.
My research interests focus on investigating determinants and consequences of economic inequality, both from an empirical and theoretical point of view, through the use of agent-based modelling techniques. One of my main lines of research investigates the relationship between inequality and climate change.
