FBLA involves the use of various competitions relating to the modern business world, these competitions allow students to compete against other individuals at different schools to showcase their skills and knowledge. There are different types of competitions, from public speaking to tests, and from individual to team competitions.
Objective Tests
Objective tests can be individual or team tests, they are usually composed of a 100 multiple choice question exam on the topic of your choosing. There is multiple types of competition categories that you can choose from, which are designated in the link to the left. The last 10 questions are tiebreaker questions to determine who will win the competition.
Judged Competitions/Prejudged Competitions
There are public speaking competitions aswell where you will create a project, or improv for certain topics, and showcase it in front of a judge that day at a certain location that you will be told by your FBLA officers or advisor. Prejudged competitions are where you create a project and turn it in before you showcase it to the judges rather than presenting it then and there for the first time.
