FBLA is a business club in ELHS. FBLA is the high school division of the "Future Business Leaders of America- Phi Beta Lamda Inc. FBLA provides the platform for business students to learn leadership skills, prepare for college, and gain business knowledge to help them in their future careers. Students do these activities by community service, board meetings, academic events, and fundraising.
You can apply for FBLA at East Lake by contacting our advisor, Ms. Fetters, or other advisors, and applying for FBLA at the beginning of the school year when applications are being accepted for new members and returning members. Any grade level business student can join.
FBLA students can receive scholarships, awards, discounts, and publications for participating in FBLA and excelling in the competitions that are offered.
Our main field trip is Fall Rally, which gives students a chance to visit workshops and meet FBLA students from other schools. It does not count towards exam exemptions, so you don't have to worry about missing school that day, you get a TDE form to fill out for this.
