Elhadji Gueye established the global fashion enterprise Maison de Haj, with a boutique and showroom in Chicago, Illinois, where he showcases the textured, elite, and opulent as the materials with which he works with. A master tailor trained in the business of dressing those in the higher classes, he is a third-generation tailor and a designer who was mentored by Gianni Versace. He was credited with designing one of the most recognizable silhouettes in cinematic history.

In the bespoke garments he creates, he weaves the mindful integration of ancestral knowledge with technology, sustainable supply, human and animal rights as well as fair trade practices.
