Designing a Water Purification System
Summary
Think of the water that you drink every day from a faucet at home or a drinking fountain at school. Compare that water to the water in a local river or lake. There’s an obvious difference between the two, isn’t there? You probably drink water from home or from a drinking fountain without thinking about it. But you might not even bathe or shower in water taken directly from a river or lake, much less drink it. Yet the water in the river or lake might just be the source of your drinking water.
In this STEM Project, you will get some idea of how dirty water is made safe to drink.
