AUTHORS

MANUEL AMARO PARRADO is the author of several fantasy novels (Fobos; León González, Antichrist; The Beat of Olympia; Shadows in the Cave; Gods and Lambs; Aenigma; Gods of Clay). His stories have appeared in various media and anthologies, and he is a member of the Killer Toons collective, with whom he collaborates as a comic book writer. His comic "Sujeto Darwin", created with Miguel Ángel Cáceres, was adapted for film in 2015 and brought to the big screen in the form of a short film starring Fernando Coronado. His awards include First Prize in the II Young Art Competition of Mérida (1995), Second Prize in the I International Short Story Competition Abades de Córdoba (2011) and First Prize in the XIII and XVII International Short Story Competition "José Toral y Sagrista".

MIGUEL ÁNGEL CÁCERES is a scriptwriter, illustrator and comic book artist, founding member of the Killer Toons collective. In Spain his comics and illustrations have been published by Planeta DeAgostini, Megamultimedia, Proyectos Editoriales Crom, eTebeos, Oxford University Press, Apache, Cazador  and Babidibú. His works have been published in the USA by Findlay Comic Press, Variance Press and CounterActive Comics, in UK by Rogue Planet Press and Heavy Metal Artwork, in Canada by Arcana Comics and in Mexico by Castálida magazine. He has been a member of Atlantis Studios in the United States, for whom he has done illustrations, covers, character design and comic book series ("Kid Victory", "Varuk", etc.). He has worked for several years for Maron International Pictures (Los Angeles, USA), creating the graphic novels "Freedom within the Heart" and "Ireland and the Sultan". His latest awards have been the "2016 ILLUSTRATION AWARD" and "2016 SILVER AWARD" in the Graphic Novel/Comic category at the READERS' FAVORITE INTERNATIONAL BOOKS AWARDS for the graphic novel "Freedom within the Heart".

DOCTOR ZONUM is the alias of Francisco Muñoz del Castillo. He has published in numerous magazines and fanzines since the 80s: "Zero" with the AK-47 Kalashnikov collective, "Cadáver", "Alancha", "Birux", "Califa", "Fanzipote", "Actúa", "Voz en Off". Cartoonist for the Diario Córdoba newspaper between 1999-2001. From 1995 to the present, co-editor and coordinator of the KILLER TOONS magazine. Illustrator of numerous books and magazines on anatomy, medicine and surgery. He combines his profession as an otorhinolaryngologist and Head of the ENT Unit at the Reina Sofia Hospital in Córdoba and the Infanta Margarita Hospital with drawing and his passion for comics and graphic novels. Killer White, his wife, teams up with him to label his misdeeds and help carry out his bloody graphic attacks.
