Elena Latini (born 1980) is a visual artist working with drawing. Her practice lies at the intersection of drawing, illustration, and visual narrative, ranging from graphite series to works where she is both the author of the text and the images.
She graduated with honours from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and has been developing her artistic practice since the early 2000s. She published a limited-edition art book featuring her poems and etchings (Le luci bianche, Il Ragazzo Innocuo Editions, Milano 2005) and series of etchings with L’Obliquo Editions (Brescia 2007, 2009). Her drawings and etchings are included in some public collections such as the Civica Raccolta del Disegno in Salò and the Museo Civico delle Cappuccine in Bagnacavallo. In 2005, she drew, in collaboration with other artists, Sol LeWitt's Wall Drawings at Galleria Studio G7 in Bologna. In 2016, she presented her graphic narrative La luma at BilBOlbul International Comics Festival in Bologna.
Recent exhibitions and collaborations include: Combat Prize – Drawing Section, Museo Fattori, Livorno (2020); Galleria Studio Cenacchi, Bologna (2022); illustrated cassettes for This Is Not A Love Song (2023–2024); featured in the online Belgian comics project Grandpapier (2024); Sudo microgalleria, Sudo Festival, Milano (2025).
