Step away from the everyday and immerse yourself in a day of creativity, mindfulness, and connection with nature. This unique retreat is designed to awaken your senses, quiet the mind, and encourage playful exploration through mark-making, painting, and clay. With nature as inspiration and process as the focus, you’ll move through guided creative activities that invite freedom, flow, and a deeper awareness of the present moment. No artistic experience is needed—just a willingness to let go and enjoy the journey.
So step away from the noise and into a space designed to nourish your creativity, calm your nervous system, and reconnect you with what matters most.
Whether you’re a curious beginner or a seasoned maker needing space to breathe, Elemental Art Flow invite you to pause, play, and create — with clay, with colour, and with kind company.
Elemental Art Flow is for you if...
You feel "blocked" in your work or your life.
You have a loud inner critic that stops you before you even start.
You crave a space where you can be messy, loud, or quiet without explanation.
You’ve forgotten what it feels like to be truly inspired by your own ideas.
When was the last time you created just for the joy of it?
Somewhere between the deadlines, the 'to-do' lists, and the pressure to be 'good' at everything, we lost our permission to play. We started holding back our words, our colors, and our true selves because we were afraid they wouldn't be 'enough.'
A sanctuary to feel free to make a mess and express yourself openly in confidence

Space to flow with your natural rhythms
Joyful, expressive playing across paints, clay and inks
Feeling safe to follow your intuition rather than your inner critic
Both Ruth and Paula were told they weren't arty when they were younger — but they were wrong. Creativity isn’t a gift for a chosen few. It’s something you return to when you’re given the right space, support and permission.
Frustrated with the stuffiness of mainstream art, we give people the opportunity to colour outside the lines and have fun with their creative potential. We inspire people to celebrate and explore unconstrained creativity and self-expression without judgement or expectation.
Ceramic artist, educator and mentor, Paula brings three decades of experience helping people reconnect with their creativity through clay. Her process-led, nature-inspired sculptures explore identity, transformation and human touch. After being told that she couldn't draw when doing her art GCSE, Paula stubbornly refused to give up. She believes everyone is creative and now shares her welcoming, non-judgemental studio space where people feel free to explore, play and grow.
Published author, Art and TCM coach, Zen Mindfulness teacher and Creativity facilitator, Ruth supports people to access their inner wisdom and authentic self-expression. Her calm presence and intuitive methods help unlock creative energy in surprising and joyful ways.
Ruth tapped back into the free creative self-expression of her childhood many years ago as a way to process and release grief and other pent up emotions. She's passionate that open-hearted self-expression is a key part of staying emotionally balanced.
Absolutely not. This is a safe, supportive space where there are no right or wrong answers — just curiosity, creativity, and connection.
Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy. We’ll provide everything else.
