Nate Shanklin

Nate Shanklin has over a decade of experience in renewable energy project development and analytics. Nate pioneered the standalone battery storage market development with General Electric Renewable Hybrids. Working with GE engineering, he was the first to establish the viability and proof of concept of industrial warehouse battery installations with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Nate previously served as the Director of Financial Facilitation for 540 Energy Group, a renewable energy investment company focused on federal agency projects. At 540 Energy, Nate oversaw a $100M rollout of energy efficiency programs for the US Army Reserve.

Nate holds an MBA from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and a BA from the University of Dayton. He lives with his family near Chicago.


Bob Koretz

Bob Koretz leads business development for ElectroBanc since 2015. Bob holds the same role for ElectroBanc's affiliate, Wolcott Energy Group where he oversees all real estate activities including project siting, real estate negotiations and contracting for numerous solar and battery storage sites. Bob works closely with technology providers (Tesla and GE), as well as potential project purchasers (EDF and Blackstone).

Bob has been a commercial real estate broker for 26 years, specializing in Industrial sales and leases. Bob is also a mortgage broker specializing in debt, mezzanine, and equity financing. Additionally, Bob consults for Energy CX, a Chicago based energy audit/brokerage firm focusing on the reduction of energy usage and costs for commercial real estate property owners.

Bob has a BA from the University of Colorado with a major in Business Administration and Marketing.

Allan KoretZ

Allan has been active in financing for more than 40 years. During his career Mr. Koretz has financed and sold > $4 billion of real estate, including providing debt and equity capital for real estate developers, home builders and high-tech companies.

Allan currently serves as CFO for ElectroBanc, LLC and as President of Arko Investments, Inc., a financial intermediary. Allan’s former positions include: Chairman of a Chicago-based manufacturer and licensor of biometric software; Senior Vice President of the Equity Group in Chicago (owned by Sam Zell); and Senior Vice President of First Chicago Realty (later acquired by JPMorgan Chase).

Allan has a BA from Amherst College and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Allan has taught Economics and Finance at the State University of New York and at the Industrial Management Institute in Lake Forest, IL. He is a recipient of Ford Foundation and University of Chicago Fellowships.
