The Hon. Vincent W. Versaci is proud to announce his candidacy for

Supreme Court Justice for the Fourth Judicial District!


Judge Versaci, formerly City Court Judge and presently the Surrogate's Court Judge for Schenectady County, has been honing his skills on the bench for almost 20 years, where he has presided over tens of thousands of cases in all areas of law. Notably, Judge Versaci has been serving as an Acting Supreme Court Justice in the Fourth Judicial District since 2011. In this capacity, he has presided over matters in Supreme Court including divorces, foreclosures and complicated civil trials.


“I have received unconditional support from family, friends and community leaders and I am ready to take on the commitment necessary to succeed in this endeavor,” said Judge Versaci. Appointed as Acting Supreme Court Justice for Schenectady County in 2011, Judge Versaci has the skills, temperament and values that resonate with voters from Schenectady to the Canadian border.

Where is the Fourth Judicial District?

New York's Fourth Judicial District is comprised of the following 11 counties: Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery, Saratoga, Schenectady, St. Lawrence, Warren & Washington. Travel from one end of the district to the other takes four hours with the greatest part of the drive taking one through rural mountain areas on secondary roads.

According to the Unified Court System, the district's population is approximately 840,000, or 4.7% of the population of the state, with 65% of the populace concentrated in the six southern counties.Because of the Canadian border and the St. Lawrence Seaway there is considerable international trade in our district. There is manufacturing and agriculture. It is the vacation land of our State where tourism is a major industry. It has mountains, lakes and rivers, and the State's two principal superhighways run east to west and north to south through the District.
