Dominique Brown, Esq. is a lifelong Democrat who was raised in Manatee County, she has two sons, Malachi and Micah. She is the owner of two small businesses, The Dream Law Firm, PLLC and Dream, Succeed, Become LLC.
Dominique received an Honorable Discharge for her service in the US Air Force (Active Duty and Reserves), after serving for 12 years and also serving a combat tour in Kandahar, Afghanistan (2007).
Prior to returning to Manatee County, she earned a Bachelor of Criminal Justice and Master of Applied Social Science - Criminal Justice, from FL A&M University in Tallahassee. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from NC Central University in Durham, NC. Dominique is licensed to practice law in Florida (including the federal bar: US District Court Middle and Southern District of Florida), North Carolina, and Washington D.C.
Dominique is active in the community. She serves as the Secretary for Memphis Washington Park Neighborhood Association (Palmetto, FL). She is also a member of the following organizations: Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Gamma Rho Zeta Chapter (Manatee/Sarasota Chapter), Florida Association of Women Lawyers (Manatee Chapter), Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL), S.W.A.T. Networking.
