Values I Believe In

Students First - Every child in Alberta deserves the best education in the world. This is the basis of the Alberta Advantage. When making any decision, I will always ask myself "Is this good for our students?" and will advocate for adequate resources to support their diverse needs.

Community - It takes a village to raise a child and we need to work together to make sure our young people thrive in an ever changing world. Parents are a child's first teacher and know them best. I have always believed parents, teachers, school staff and community agencies must work as partners to best support our students. Working together, we can optimize resources to ensure that our students have everything they need to reach their full potential.

Equity - All students deserve a quality education. I will listen to your ideas and fight for a safe, equitable, first class education system that will support the needs of every student. After the various disruptions during the last two school years, we need to help students and teachers fill in the individual learning gaps that may have occurred.
