In a collaboration with the Pathology Department of the UMCG we are developing an interactive platform where students can learn more about the pathology lab. What happens with tissue samples from patients? How many people work in the lab? How long will it take before a diagnosis can be made? With this interactive platform we are addressing the steps that take place in the pathology lab. From the moment a tissue sample comes in, to the point to where the pathologist makes a diagnosis. We are combining different elements to visualize the process. Animation, video, illustrations and text will form one cohesive explanation of the pathology lab.
