Check out what my students and I have done in the past!

6th Grade: 2018-2019: My first year in the classroom. These kids were amazing and I'm so glad I got to teach them!

We ended the year with a "How-To" project! We taught each other how to make cookies, chicken, lava lamps, skate board, and so many other things! (Making the chicken got a little messy when the bag exploded! XD)

6th Grade 2019-2020: We didn't get to finish the year together, but we had so much fun learning anyway! These kids were the sweetest and the most excited to learn! We got to debate, do Socratic seminars, write our own nonfiction book, and even though we didn't get to finish our 3D Book project due to COVID. we ended the year smiling!

8th Grade 2020-2021: We started the year being virtual, and despite all the obstacles we faced we learned and thrived. Not only did we get past the technology difficulties, but we even tackled a huge project successfully! These kids created an entire walk-in museum! I am so proud of these kids and how much they've grown. They were my 6th graders when I started teaching, and I got to teach them again as 8th graders! I love y'all with all my heart!

8th Grade 2021-2022: I moved back to the Houston area, and started working at a founding school! This journey was extremely insightful, and I got to learn so much!

My kids started a little secret photo challenge game where they would try to take as many selfies on my phone as possible without me noticing...so my phone now contains endless smiles and silly pictures! XD

Every year I teach there are always a group of kids who dress super cute! This year the butterflies absolutely won my heart!

This was the first year I was nominated for teacher of the month!

It was very fun experience and I was so grateful to have gotten a chance to teach all these amazing kids.

The relationships we built this year is something I will never forget, and I hope that all my kids keep in touch! I can't wait to hear what y'all will be up too when you graduate high school.
