Based on the Ekano, which lasted for years on my pedalboard, I had to create some space on my board and built a smaller version - no display, less space, straight-forward features.
The software can be found in the download-folder (make sure, you use the "mini" Version, it does not require any libraries), I also provide the files for 3D-printing. I don't write a documentation for this one, if you found this page, you will likely know how to build this. Just be aware of the fact, that you need to work in a tight space if you assemble this.
I add a few pictures of the build process, a wiring diagram and a video showing the features.
Powering on the pedalboard: The HX Stomp starts, the Ekano shows a boot animation (actually to wait for the HX Stomp. Not shown: can be interrupted by pressing any button). Once the boot procedure is over (20 seconds, to make sure the HX Stomp is "listening") It sets the HX to preset 118 (in my case, can be modified) and snapshot one. Sorry for forgetting to turn of the Wah Wah ;-)
Select amp channels and toggle output volume: The output of the HX can be toggled via Midi (0db/+4dB). The initial value after the boot is 0dB. The three buttons select three sound: Clean/Crunch/Lead. Pressing a button of a selected channel activates or deactivates the +4dB-Boost (indicated by the brightness of the respective LED).
Toggle preset/stomp modes on HX Stomp: At the end of the video you can see what happens, when you hold and release the buttons for more than a second: Middle Button: Change to Preset Scroll mode on HX Stomp (not shown: change back to Stomp Mode, if you press and hold again). Right Button: Change to Preset Select mode (not shown: and back). Left Button: Set back to inital state ("Safe Harbour": Preset 118, Snapshot 1, 0dB).Â
