Overview of Project & Key Information

This project will continue to develop as time progresses. Environmental justice and education are inextricably intertwined. This project is very meaningful to me, since I live in an area with great environmental risks. This puts many people in danger. There are at least 20 schools with a 2 mile radius of the facility- Quemetco. Students play outside, partake in physical education, and learn  in an environment that is possibly contaminated with lead, air, or water pollution. Furthermore, there are many studies that show the dangers and risks affiliated with lead especially in people who are more vulnerable such as children.
