COVID-19 Related Information for Participants
This information will be updated just before the conference. At the time of writing CMS guidance is as follows.
Face Coverings
While no longer a legal requirement, the use of face coverings is recommended for all categories of staff and students when moving around indoors at CMS, but particularly in crowded situations where social distancing may not be possible. This applies in CMS lecture rooms.
Individuals will respond to the removal of all government restrictions in different ways. As some may have higher risk of becoming unwell, this recommendation aims to reduce COVID transmission as well as demonstrating consideration for all CMS users.
CMS Attendance
You should not come into the CMS when presenting symptoms of respiratory infections, and particularly when experiencing a high temperature; online participation can be arranged accordingly. Also, it would be helpful if you would report any COVID symptoms to EJH-75@maths.cam.ac.uk.
Do not come into the CMS for five days if you have tested positive for COVID.
Social Distancing
All those at CMS are encouraged to still maintain social distancing where reasonably possible.
Hygiene
Hand sanitiser and wipes are provided to enable individuals to sanitise their seating area before and after use in meeting rooms and when using kettles, microwaves, fridges and taps in the common rooms.
CMS users should continue to wash their hands regularly
