Hi. I am Eise Booij.

I am a second-year Game Design student at the HKU University of the Arts in Utrecht. I focus on creating vivid and imaginative experiences through games and interactive media. My design principles stem from a fascination with the natural world, cultural heritage, and stories in all forms. 

I strive to create engaging and meaningful experiences that communicate and highlight the importance of social, cultural, natural and personal awareness and preservation. I believe games and interactive media are the perfect tools to provoke a sense of reality and urgency when it comes to such matters and allow for a more creative, fun, subtle and impactful approach than conventional media.

I am currently diving deeper into design-related research and theory to present stronger and more scientifically backed design choices.
