This research explains the Domino/Cascade reaction, including thiourea’s formation and their applications in diverse fields like agriculture, medicines & biology in detail. It also carries a brief data on thiourea based metal complexes, thiourea based nano particles and computational studies of thiourea. We have synthesized 14 derivatives of thiourea, the opted pathway for the synthesis was cascade/domino reaction. Among these 14 derivatives 4 thiourea derivatives were found to be novel (C9-C12). All the synthesized compounds including novel and reported ones by different method were brought for spectroscopic analysis, Using Ft-IR, 1H NMR (Bruker 500 MHz). Novel compounds were also confirmed by Single X-ray crystallography. Some synthesized compounds (C5) were used as ligands for a novel Pb complex (C15) formation, which was confirmed by spectroscopic methods including FTIR and 1H NMR (Bruker’s 500 MHz). X-ray crystallography was also used to confirm the structure of metal complex. These synthesized thiourea compounds helped to eradicate the lead (Pb) metal from water by chelation process and water gets purified. All the synthesized compounds were purified by recrystallization.
