Ethiopian Hotel and Tourism Employers Federation

The main purpose of the federation is to create the industry peace in the hotel and tourism sector and work for the development of tourism sector in Ethiopia. The goal of the federation is the members to be a best destination of tourists and assisting and build their capacity to provide the high level services for the guests. We represent the members in every level.

Ethiopian Hotel & Tourism Employers Federation (EHTEF), which was formerly known as the Ethiopian Hotel and Related Service Providers Employers Federation has been renamed following the decision made during the general assembly held on August 31-September 1, 2023.

Our federation encompasses members at the national level, currently comprising 21 regional and city hotel associations as members with indirect representation from over 3000 hotels, lodges, restaurants, cafes, and other entities under these associations.

EHTEF is dedicated to the advancement of the hotel and tourism sector, functioning as an organization that focuses on capacity building, advocacy, networking, and fostering positive labor-employer relationships for both direct and indirect stakeholders within the sector, ultimately aiming for efficient employment practices.
