Parent Resources

It's important to know that your teen can experience different types of losses (e.g., death, divorce, moving homes, breakups) that can lead to grief!

Some signs to look out for in your teen:

  • Nightmares

  • Withdrawal, becoming more isolated

  • Emotional Numbing (meaning they are shutting out their feelings)

  • Losing motivation to do activities they once enjoyed

  • A drop in grades and school performance

  • Increased problems with friendships
