Karlos Odum has been the Head Coach at Evans High School since the 2024 season. Previously he had been an assistant coach at Evans as well as coaching several youth teams in the area. Coach Odum grew up in Haines City and played Football at FAMU where he played Defensive Back. He is passionate about helping the students see their full potential not only developing as a player on the field but a young man in the classroom. He is dedicated to helping them move on to the next level and treats the players like his own kids.

Coach Hand was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He has been coaching football for over 15 years, which consists of both high school and collegiate experience. He attended the University of Notre Dame, where he played Defensive Tackle and earned his bachelor's degree. Coach Hand has been with the Trojan Program for the last 5 years, serving as Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach. He continues to improve the defense and special teams unit each year and looks forward to having another top-tier defense. Coach Hand’s goals are to help the student-athletes grow and develop into strong young men and even greater contributors to the Pine Hills Community.

Coach Alford has been a varsity offensive coordinator for over 10 years in the greater Central Florida area and in South Georgia. His offense has produced 30-40+ per game while running an up-tempo, spread system. He has developed over 40 offensive players into college level athletes who have earned full scholarships. Coach Alford lives by the principle of "DNA": Discipline, Never Give up, Accountability. These three concepts can lead you through any type of adversity. His goals for our Trojans is to get better each play. The scoreboard will take care of itself. We worry only about us, learn the game in its entirety and let the talent do the rest.

Coach Hunter grew up on the Southside of Tallahassee, Florida where he began playing football and played at James S. Rickards High School. He went on to play football for Florida A&M University where he earned his Bachelor Degree in Sociology w/ minor in Criminal Justice. His personal philosophy is "the way you do anything is the way you do everything. You are in control of your own destiny" which he encourages his student athletes to follow on and off the field. His coaching goals are to mentor and develop young men both personally and as football players while also advancing my coaching career to the next level. His goal for the team is to win a state championship while also ensuring these young men develop valuable life skills they can carry with them into the world.
LB Coach: Clarence Pankey
Clarence Pankey has been involved in the game of the football at the High School, College, and Semipro for over 31 years. He was a running back at Grambling State University in Louisiana. After college, he spent the first two years coaching at Essex High in New Jersey and then moved to Florida where he has been coaching the last 24 years in Florida High Schools in Miami and Orlando. Coach Pankey’s life has been dedicated to helping young men take the lessons they learn on the field and apply them to real life situations to make positive changes in their lives.

Coach Fletcher Williams grew up in Pensacola, Florida where he played football at Booker T Washington High school. He continued playing football at Florida A&M University where he earned a degree in Computer Information Science and Masters of Business Administration. Coach Williams had a brief stint playing for the with BC Lions in Canada. His personal philosophy is "Anything worth having is worth working for" and strives to help our athletes understand that hard work will get them to their goals. This season he feels the Trojans can make a strong push towards the state championship through hard work and dedication from the staff and their players.
Defensive Backs Coach: Greg King
A former standout defensive back at Dr. Phillips High School, Greg King parlayed his on-field instincts and leadership into a burgeoning coaching career. After lettering four years in the secondary—where he honed his technique, ball-hawking skills, and football IQ—Greg felt called to teach the game from the sidelines. Coach philosophy "TIE" “Technique, intelligence, effort.”
