2024 FUNDRAISER
IMPACT FUNDRAISING CUSTOM COUPON CARDS
Edina Volleyball is excited to kickoff its annual fundraising event! Together with Impact Fundraising, we have created a custom coupon card that offers YEAR-LONG, UNLIMITED-USE discounts to local businesses. In order for this to be successful, we are requiring each player to do two things: BUY-IN and PARTICIPATE IN BLITZ DAY.
BUY-IN
Each player is responsible for a “buy-in” of $200 or 10 coupon cards. (10 cards x $20 each = $200) Players can sell these cards to friends, family, and neighbors to recoup the entire $200. Parents will receive a green envelope with the "buy-in" cards at the Parent Meeting on Friday, August 16th. (Venmo information will be provided to expedite payment of the cards before the meeting.)
BLITZ DAY
"What is a blitz?" A blitz is a team-building sales day where players and parents meet-up, team-up and sell door-to-door in specific areas. Parent drivers will shuttle teams of 2-3 students to pre-mapped sales zones. Once arriving in the assigned zone, the “sales team” will jump out of the car, knock on doors to sell the cards, then jump back in to be driven to the next street/area on the map.
EVB Blitz Day, August 21st from 3:00-7:00 pm. The Blitz will be held during regular practice time. It will be great team-bonding! Participation is required for all players.
We need 20 parent volunteers to make the Blitz Day a success! Look for sign-ups at the Parent Meeting, August 16th. With your help we can run our Blitz efficiently and safely.
Due to successful fundraising the past 2 years, we won't have an assessment fee (again) this season!
The funds we raise cover these important aspects of our program (so you don't have to!): 9B Coach's salary, pre-season gym rental, extra tournaments, practice gear, photographer, videographer, game-day events, banquet costs (player food and beverage, room rental, audio-visual, decor, gifts, award plaques), and community service projects.
