Throughout your EHS experience, you will come across all sorts of clubs/extracurricular activities. It is always best to start early in trying new activities while remaining mindful to not overexert yourself.
During your high school career, you will likely be faced with the difficulties of balancing your academic and social life. However, it is important to maintain both of these, even if it means putting school work aside to have some fun.
While in high school, you will meet new people nearly every day, even a few years into your EHS career. These four years of high school are some of the best opportunities to branch out and meet new people.
At an earlier age, blending in seems to be the only feasible way of making friends and surviving in a new social setting. However, as time goes on, you realize that expressing your own individuality is crucial in setting yourself apart.
Whether these regrets will become yours at the end of your EHS career is up to how you decide to spend these next four years. So, go to that event, talk to that new kid, join that new club. High school is what you make of it, after all.
