About FIRST Tech Challenge

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is an exciting intermediate middle school program bridging the gap between the FIRST Lego League (FLL) at the elementary school level, and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) at the high school level.

While around most of the world FTC is for high school students, FIRST in Michigan placed FTC at the middle school level specifically to give our students an achievable technical challenge that prepares them for FRC

We are more than just a robot...

Our mission is to design, build, code, compete, and work together to accomplish our goals.

We encompass Gracious Professionalism: a way of doing things that encourages high-quality work, emphasizes the value of others, and respects individuals and the community. With Gracious Professionalism, fierce competition and mutual gain are not separate notions. Gracious professionals learn and compete like crazy but treat one another with respect and kindness in the process.
