Eden Gardens Magnet Library
MEET MRS. POWERS
Hello, my name is Jennifer Powers and I am thrilled to serve as the librarian at Eden Gardens! I have been an educator for over 20 years. In addition to being a school librarian, my career has included teaching high school social studies and working at the Louisiana Department of Education.
This is my 11th year serving as a librarian, and I absolutely love my job! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband and children, travel, walk my dog, volunteer in our community, and of course - READ! :)
I'm looking forward to a great year in The Garden!
BOOK DONATIONS
We are working hard to update the EGM Library collection and need your help! If you would like to donate a book in honor of your child, please click here to visit our wish list.
Your student will be the first person to check out the title, and a donation bookplate with their name will be placed inside the book's front cover.
