I worked as the Scrum Master for this senior capstone project, which meant that I was in charge of planning each 2-week sprint and leading the sprint retrospectives and reviews.
My team used technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server, GitLab, Google Maps, and Figma to design and develop an application from scratch. Our client, Miami University's Professor Norm Krumpe, requested a mobile application where users can create their own tours, share tours, and go on tours created by other users. Each tour has associated locations, each with its own images and comments added by users. Users can mark tours as completed, add them to their list of tours to go on in the future, and also specify whether they have visited each location of a tour.
This was the largest project I completed at Miami University, with the course spanning the entirety of my junior year. I really enjoyed experiencing different stages of the software development life cycle, including requirements elicitation and analysis, design, implementation, and testing. At the end of the year, my team attended the College of Engineering and Computing's Expo, where we presented our project and had the opportunity to learn about the projects that other teams completed.
We presented the following slideshow during the Senior Design Project Exposition at the end of the school year.
