ABOUT ME

Hi there! 👋

My name is Eva. I am a PhD candidate and graduate assistant at University of Florida. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ithaca College, where I also minored in Politics and Philosophy. I received my first master's degree in Psychology from New York University, and my second master's degree from University of Florida, where I am completing my doctorate program. 

I am interested in the ways socio-political systems and cultural narratives (de)motivate collective action. In particular, I am interested in how and why people think and feel about the status quo and social possibilities, and the effect these thoughts have on promoting or undermining support for social change.
