The multiplier event took place in two consecutive days. On the first day, there was an in-person reunion, where school groups from Algoz, Armação de Pêra e São Bartolomeu de Messines were present. The presentation was held in Portuguese by the AES Erasmus+ coordinator.
Teachers from other groups in different cities in the Algarve, such as Lagoa, Portimão and Vila do Bispo, were invited on the second day, to an online event. Teachers from different countries (Germany, Spain, Italy and Serbia), participating in other Erasmus+ projects together with AES, were also invited. The online event was held in English by the AES Erasmus+ coordinator.
The two-day multiplier event brought to the attention of the invited teachers the digital Scratch creations of the eGAIA students as a means of achieving programming skills and environmental awareness.
The second multiplier event was dual: in person and online, with teachers from other national schools in Portugal. The event was held in Portuguese by the EB1/PE da Cruz de Carvalho eGAIA project coordinators.
The event was centered on the digital stories that the eGAIA students created both individually and in teams. These are a means of endowing students with both digital and environmental literacy.
A third multiplier event took place both online and in person at the partner 6th Experimental Junior High School, Alexandroupolis, Greece.
The experimentation with the micro:bit plant monitoring and automated watering were presented to the participants, demonstrating the student empowerment in STEM and awareness of different environmental characteristics as achieved within eGAIA.
A fourth multiplier event took place at the "Mihai Eminescu" middle school in Craiova.
The scope was the presentation of the board game developed in collaboration within the consortium.
The discussions revolved around the rules and tokens to support the dynamics of the game, as well as the use of 3D printing in creating the pawns and dice together with the students. They also highlighted the national characteristics expressed through the tree figures and the European dimension achieved by cooperative gameplay towards common environmental protection.
The last multiplier event took place online, with University of Craiova as the host.
The aim was to present the AI and micro:bit sustainable solutions developed with the students during the project, while sharing best practices and lessons learned.
Several academics were invited to the event, from different universities across Europe: Germany, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Poland and Serbia.
