I am Eetu Hukkanen, a youth councilor from Tampere and an international influencer. I was elected to the Tampere youth council for a second term in the November 2022 youth council elections with 516 votes. Thank you for giving me the trust to drive the improvement of the position of the young people of Tampere and the building of the future of Tampere in the Tampere youth council in the period 2023-2024.

I want to promote cooperation between different political actors in politics and create a more constructive discussion in municipal politics. The polarization of political discussion creates a great threat to democracy and its development in Finland. This is what I want to be preventing.

Politics needs more debating and cooperative politicians from different areas of life, as well as versatile creators of the future. We need everyone involved in building a sustainable, fair, and equal future for Finland. It is our responsibility to ensure that future generations can live in a free, carbon-neutral, and caring Finland in the future as well.
