A drawing of my dog taking a nap on a blanket. This was my first time working with a wet medium that wasn't paint. I had a lot of fun working with pen and it is now one of my favorite mediums to work with!

A self-portrait of myself in a semi-surrealistic style. Practicing layering and focus on detail with the overlapping portraits and emphasis of the portraits with the background. Trying to stray a bit further than just realism.

A close-up painting of strawberries in a bowl. This was my first ever time using oil paints. It was a different processes than what I was used to, blocking in all the shadows, then the mid-tones, and then finally the highlights to pull the piece together.

Dreamscapes of the Mind
A surrealistic style portrait of one of my friends, Emmamah! Ventured very far from my usual realism/drawing a reference straightup. Put together many references and tweaked them while drawing to create a surrealistic composition and tell a story.

An assignment for art class to pick a five letter word and spell it out with objects related to that theme. I picked "ocean" and my favorite object would have to be the turtle!

A drawing of flowers placed in a cowboy boot. This was created for the Rodeo here in Houston, Texas. Rodeo art is a big thing in Texas and every art class I've taken has had a rodeo art assignment with this being one of them, however I never got the chance to complete it.

A quick practice sketch of apples in a bowl to practice realism and the focus on how light hits objects.

Sphere Sketch
A sketch practicing shading and the different levels of value. A lot of focus on light coming from two different directions and drawing it correctly to make the object look realistic and accurate to the reference.
