Dr. Teuta Hazizi is a Lecturer in the Business Administration Department at the Faculty of Economy, University of Elbasan “Aleksandër Xhuvani”. She graduated in Business Administration and completed a Master's programme in Marketing at the University of Tirana, and another Master's in Risk and Financial Management, collaboration between the University of Bologna, Italy, and the Catholic University Our Lady of Good Counsel, Tirana, Albania. She completed her doctoral studies in economic sciences at the European University of Tirana, earning the title "Doctor of Economic Sciences" in 2016. With around 18 years of experience since 2006, she has been a lecturer in management, business communication, negotiation, and leadership at the University of Elbasan, initially as a guest lecturer while working as a Branch Manager at the Customs House Elbasan Office, and at ProCredit Bank. Since 2015, she has been a full-time lecturer. She has attended different postgraduate courses and trainings in her field. Her scientific research contributions include several publications in scientific journals and papers presented at international conferences. Throughout her career, she has worked on various national and international projects, conducting desk research, needs analyses, and reports. She has been a team member of research projects led by London Metropolitan University, UK, such as “Exploring Lecturers’ Inclusive Formative Assessment Practices (IFAP) in Higher Education”, “Women in Finance: Closing the Gap”, and “Neurodiversity in Higher Education”. She coordinated a national project funded by UNIEL, “New Entrepreneurs in the Natural Tourism Sector: Their Leadership Model”.
She has 20 years of experience as a lecturer in the Department of Business Administration and extensive experience in designing, developing, and managing various projects. She holded the position of Dean of the Faculty of Economy, having been elected in March 2016 until September 2024. She is also an accredited expert and developer in teacher training programs under the TEAVET CBHE Erasmus+ project and the EntrAl CBHE Erasmus+; External evaluation expert of the Accreditation Board of ASCAL; Member of academic Council of the international university research network “European research Network in tax law and finance law KULTAX”; Member of experts committee of selection and promotion of employees in executive level in several public; Member of the Editorial Board of the Scientific Review of the University of Elbasan“Aleksandër Xhuvani”, ISSN:2221-5956; Member of the Scientific International Board of :”Euro-Balkan Law and Economics Review”, University of Barit “Aldo Moro”, Itali- ISSN”2612- 6583, https://ojs.cimedoc.uniba.it/index.php/law/about/displayMembership/19; etc. According to the most recent experience with projects, she has been institutional project manager of CBHE Erasmus + project TEAVET (2017-2020), Institutional project manager of CBHE Erasmus + EntrAL (2021-2024), Institutional project manager of EIT HEI project HEI4Future (2021-2024).
Diamanta Vito, a researcher and lecturer at the Scientific Centre for Research and Development in Law and Economy at the Faculty of Economy, University of Elbasan “Aleksandër Xhuvani”, completed her university education in Elbasan. Her undergraduate degree is from Albania, while her Master's degree in International Public Administration was obtained in London, UK. From 2007 to 2018, she worked at Elbasan Municipality as the General Director of Economic and Strategic Development. In 2018, she began working as a Municipal Management Expert in the USAID PLGP project. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with multiple government entities and coordinated public-private partnerships. Her extensive experience makes her an expert in Albanian governance and democratic policy. She has also worked with Peace Corps Albania Pre-Service Training from 2007 to 2017. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Administration, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Since December 2012, he has been a lecturer in the Department of Law at the Faculty of Economy, University of Elbasan “Aleksandër Xhuvani”, covering subjects such as Commercial Law, International Commercial Law, and Public Transport Law. From the academic year 2015-16, he has held the position of Professor, after being awarded the title of Assoc. Prof. in April 2015. He is an accredited external researcher in the Department of Legal Sciences "A. Cicu" at the University of Bologna, collaborating scientifically with Prof. Stefano Zunarelli. His main field of study focuses on business law, EU legislation studies, competition, and the law of obligations. He graduated from the University of Bologna in 2009, with a score of 110/110 magna cum laude, defending his thesis "Le Autorità creditizie nel sistema finanziario albanese" (Business Law). He continued his academic pursuits with doctoral studies in European Transport Law at the University of Bologna, where he defended his thesis on "Le gestioni aeroportuali e dei servizi aeroportuali nel diritto europeo e nazionale". He is active in academic and professional journals and is part of various research groups. He serves on editorial boards, scientific ommittees, and as a reviewer for several scientific journals, both in Albania and internationally. A lawyer since 2013, he currently practices as a lawyer and consultant. Since 2020, he has led the Jean Monnet Chair at the Department of Law, Faculty of Economy, University of Elbasan “Aleksandër Xhuvani”. The chair aims to enhance awareness and teaching in EU law within the University of Elbasan, create a panel of high expertise for debating on EU acquis adoption, perform quality research, and reach a large number of beneficiaries through deliverables.
Dr. Ina Sejdini is a Lecturer of Statistics in the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Economy, University of Elbasan “Aleksandër Xhuvani”. She graduated in Business Administration and completed a scientific Master's programme in Management at the University of Elbasan. She earned her doctoral degree in Economic Sciences from the International University of Struga, North Macedonia, and has held the title "Doctor of Economic Sciences" since 2016. With over 10 years of experience, she has been a lecturer in statistics at the University of Elbasan. Throughout her career, she has worked on various national and international projects, conducting desk research, needs analyses, and reports.
As a lecturer of the Department of Finance and Accounting at the Faculty of Economy, University of Elbasan “Aleksandër Xhuvani”, she graduated in Banking and Finance from Padua University. Her specialization in Financial & Risk Management is backed by managerial experiences (including roles as Risk Manager, Operational Risk Controller, and Head of Organizational Methodology Department) in various international banking groups in Albania. She holds two Ph.D. degrees, one from the Polytechnic University of Lugano and another from the Catholic University of Murcia. She is also a "Certified Public Accountant". Assoc. Prof. Dr. Todri coordinates research projects related to small and medium businesses for the Balkan region, developed by CEDIFIRM.
A Lecturer in the Department of Informatics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Elbasan “Aleksandër Xhuvani”, he teaches courses including Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Data Structures and Algorithms, (Advanced/Basic) Object-Oriented Programming, and Introduction to Programming. Since 2008, he has been a part-time lecturer at Epoka University, Albania, responsible for delivering lectures, conducting research, and supervising student research activities. He holds a PhD in Computer Science (Advanced Information Systems). His accolades include a Golden Medal from the Albanian Ministry of Education for outstanding high school results, being a threetime consecutive winner of the Albanian National Mathematics Olympiad (1999, 2000, and 2001), a Bronze Medal at the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad 2000 in Chisinau, Moldova, and an Honourable Mention at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2001 in Washington DC, USA.
