*I am able to provide additional ESOL support in Reading and Writing to students or parents needing this support.
A typical session runs for 60 minutes. We will begin by touching base on what the student has been learning, any areas they may need support in, and what has been going on in their lives. I feel it is vital that I have the personal connection to my students so I can incorporate their interests into lessons. From there, the bulk of our time will be spent continuing to develop their understanding of concepts. The final five to ten minutes will be spent reviewing what we have learned, clearing up any questions, and providing the student with any support aides.
You will receive a summary of what we worked on each session and details for our next meeting.
This is truly up to you! In our world, learning can happen anywhere and in any format. If you choose online learning, we will use Google Meet. This will be used in conjunction with Ziteboard and/or Google Docs to work together simultaneously. If you choose in person learning, I am happy to meet at the local library or your child's school (if allowed).
*Due to Covid-19, in-person tutoring may look a little different. We can learn together outside, at a local park, or in a discussed space in which both parties are comfortable. Please contact me to discuss further to ensure everyone's safety and comfort!
Pricing can be discussed once we meet for our first session. Your first session is a free, 30-45 minute meeting where I will get to know you, your child, and further discuss your goals. After gathering a baseline, I will be able to share more about pricing. Bundles and discounts are available!
