The challenge comes in the fact that these moments are usually not part of the curriculum or textbooks provided to students in schools. We have an opportunity to light the fire in our students and empower them to leverage their assets, their experience, their observations, and what you have taught them to take action.
Below are examples of students who saw a problem in their community and decided to act. These can be examples to use with your students or points of inspiration for you to determine what videos or other media resources might support you to inspire and empower your students.
