Who Am I?
Hey! Glad to see you here! My name is Nour Itani. I am a Lebanese citizen, and I am currently a junior pursuing a B.A. in psychology at the American University of Beirut (AUB). I am always grateful for what I have and am pretty sure that my thankful manner fuels my self-compassion. I am a committed person. I do set clear goals in life, and I tend to endure and overcome all hurdles to meet these goals. I constantly strive to push my boundaries to achieve more. Now that you know me, welcome to my website!
Why Did I Choose Psychology As A Major?
I am fond of psychology because it is the art that challenges the things I know best. I have a strong desire to learn about the human mind and behavior. Not to mention that I am always passionate about helping others. I am an avid advocate of human rights especially when it comes to children or people with disabilities. My heart bleeds for kids who live in impoverished conditions and don’t have access to good education. I strongly believe that by choosing this major, I am a catalyst of change who will help people let go of their sufferings and draw smiles on their faces.
What Are My Hobbies?
In my free time, I like to read psychology journals, bake desserts, watch series, and just chill...
What Are My Plans After I Graduate?
After I graduate, I am planning on doing a master's degree in clinical psychology because I want to pursue a career as a clinical psychologist. I would like to opt for a PSYC.D before I start my own clinical practice. I feel like I want to be highly knowledgeable and educated in order to give my clients the best therapy possible. My journey is definitely a long one, but it'll be worth it!
What Is The Purpose of This Website?
I designed this website for my final project of the course "Education 219". The main purpose of it is to showcase all the projects that I worked on during the semester. There were many interesting activities worthy of attention that we worked on individually or collaboratively. In the following pages, I'll introduce you to the Education 219 E-Portfolio.
