EDU219 examines how to use technology to support teaching and learning. This course is designed to prepare students to integrate a variety of computer-based technologies into the K-12 curriculum. Dr. Hoda Baytiyeh assesses the students' knowledge of the Internet, Web 2.0 (blogs and wikis), word processing, spreadsheets, and slideshows through various lesson activities.

My "Ah Hah Moments"
My "Ah Hah Moments"
My first "ah hah moment" was when I learned that when sharing any document on Google Drive, I have the option to control what role people will have on my file (viewer, commenter, or editor). My second discovery was when I was doing the Wiki assignment. I liked that it tracks every change, even the very minor ones, which makes it easy for the professor to check the workload distribution. Lastly, I was fascinated by the fact that I can easily change the PowerPoint presentation into a kiosk mode, making the module engaging and interactive.

The teacher's leniency with deadlines
The teacher's way of explaining things and providing examples
The teacher's willingness to sit with the student in a one-on-one session anytime and anywhere to re-explain things

I found the test to be a bit confusing because there were some questions (ex: ones about shareware and freeware) whose material wasn't provided in the ppts.
